Acoustic doors of either single or double lead construction can be provided to suit a variety of applications and can be supplied in primer, pre-finished, or timber veneers. All doors are manufactured with matching framers to ensure a higher standard of fit and hence, acoustic performance. For most applications, we recommend the user of timber construction as this affords greater flexibility in terms of door furniture and finish treatments.

The vast majority of our acoustic door-sets are supplied to site a laminated finish to either side of the door leaf and clear satin varnish to the hardwood frame and lipping. These can be chosen from our large range of Colored and wood laminates. We can also supply doors in prime painted finish. The natural finish of the hardwood, used to manufacture the door frames and window surrounds, can afford a pleasant contrast to the chosen finish for the door leaf. The peripheral acoustic seals are supplied with protective tape to facilitate ease of ‘cutting in’when applying site treatments.

Hardware Door, frame perimeter sound seals, and door bottom are supplied as part of the complete tested assembly.
