ACOUSTIC CEILING BAFFLES

First Acoutic Baffles are greater way to add an acoustic treatment to the room while only partially covering the ceiling. Since Baffles are suspended vertically and the surface area exposed for sound absorption is doubled and higher NRC levels can be achieved. First Fabric & Wood finished baffles to a wide range of unique shapes and colors with the option of wire suspension or direct mounting them to a T-bar grid.

First  acoustic Ceiling sound baffles are an effective, economical acoustic treatment that suspends from the ceiling to increase speech intelligibility and sound clarity. Our acoustic baffles are an excellent choice or use in spaces that are large, have limited wall space or need materials out of reach. Since the products installs vertically, both sides have exposure to sound. With an increase in surface area, there is an increase in its ability to reduce reverberation.

We manufacture our ceiling sound baffles using fiberglass, acoustic foam and recycled cotton core materials to offer the best sound absorption. Some finish options include fabric for design-ability, vinyl for clean-ability, ripstop for durability, and a sanitary option for food & drug processing areas.

First of acoustical fabric Baffles consist of two 1//(25mm) thick cores assembled to produce an overall 2//(50mm) thick baffles which is then upholstered. An optional foil-type septum between the two panels is available to aid in containing sound within an area. Fabric Baffles are available in three type.

INCREASED CONCENTRATION

When lots of sounds are traveling to the ear from different directions and a person cannot determine the source, the result is disruption which has a massively determined effect on concentration. Good room acoustics ensure is absorbed before it hits a person’s ear, guaranteeing aren’t any disruptive effects on concentrations.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Effective communication relies on good room acoustics. When a room suffers from a problem of excessive noise, the sound of the voice gets which results in poor speech intelligibility. Similarly, if lots of hard surfaces are causing the sound to bounce around the room and cause an echo, the reflection inundates each other and makes speech difficult to hear and understands. A room with good acoustics controls the noise levels so that the sound and clarity of the voice are not lost.

ACOUSTIC COMFORT

Noise can rise to uncontrolled levels when lots of people are talking and moving or there are too many noise sources and not enough sound-absorptive materials in a room. Good acoustics ensure that noise is absorbed at the right level to afford a comfortable environment in which to work, relax or listen.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY

It’s no surprise that expensive noise and poor acoustics can have a determining effect on productivity. Not only does it affect communication and concentration, but unwanted sounds can also effect morale and make workers less productive in their roles. Noise, in addition to causing nuisance and disturbances in an office environment, is a primary cause of reduction in productivity (About 2004). A comfortable acoustic environment is crucial to productivity and morale , particularly, in working spaces

PRIVACY

Wheather it’s a private doctor’s office, an open plan office, or a restaurant, a certain deg ree of confidentially is important in most room types. When there are no sound-absorptive materials in a room, privacy between room users or between adjoining rooms can be seriously compromised as there is nothing to stop voices from traveling. Good room acoustics are essential to ensuring privacy.

WOOD BAFFLES

Acoustically perforated wood products were installed to partially cover the ceiling. As natural wood products tend to weigh significantly heavier than fabrics or Claro products, limited suspension options are available with this finish.
